We experienced a full 6 days (8 calendar days) on board of the Elizabeth clipper with bikes and e-bikes trips during the daytime.
The staff was experienced and gentle. The bike guide Paul spoke italian and was a great guide. Our cabin was on the deck and was small but ok and comfortable. I really liked the nights along the docks with the window opened.
Food was given in quantity. Breakfast was large and a variety of salted and sweet food was available. Tea, coffee, water and fruit was free H24.
Food was international, from asiatic dishes to caribbean ones and mexican and continental. We almosf are everything and we also had a bbq dinner. Sometimes as an italian I missed the semplicity of our dishes (a plain pasta with tomato sauce would have been appreciated at least once). The cook was also kind to prepare a cake for our daughter, since she has her birthady on board. Many thanks again to him.
We sailed twice. It was exciting to help the staff to rise the sails.
The bike trips were really the best part of the journey. Not touristic at all. Highly reccomended.
I really liked the stay and I hope to book a similar trip next year.

We have a wonderful experience with everything. The food was amazing, the crew lovely and polite, everything very organized.

My wife and I were on a week long sailing & biking trip aboard the Elizabeth which surpassed our expectations. We attribute this foremost to the crew, and then to our fellow passengers whom we sailed with. The crew on this sailing were kind and accommodating – each doing their jobs well and going above and beyond, helping to make our time aboard the ship enjoyable and memorable. It is, of course, total luck of the draw as to whom our fellow passengers would be, and we were indeed very lucky, as we enjoyed sailing and biking with some very nice people. The bikes provided were of decent quality, and the ships crew had our bikes lined up and ready to go at each port. We thoroughly enjoyed the trails and the scenery of the places we biked throughout the Netherlands, before returning to our ship in the afternoon. Our room onboard the Elizabeth was spacious enough, and well kept and clean. The meals and snacks prepared by the chef were a delight, and our time sailing on the Elizabeth was a joy. We hope to join Boat & Bike Tours for another adventure in the future.

Fantastic trip, crew was great – helpful and friendly. The boat was clean and beautiful. There were some maintenance issues which the crew dealt with efficiently but as a result the route was changed. A bit more information about things to see on the route would be a benefit as it was unguided.

Sailing aboard the ELIZABETH was one of the best vacations that I have ever experienced. The crew were terrific. We ate like queens and kings. And the bicycle touring was like something out of a fairy tale. Gorgeous scenery along canals and picturesque Dutch landscapes. I hope to do another tour soon.

This is our fourth trip with boat bike tours and we have a confirmed reservation with this company in October 2024. This is an exceptional tour company. Every trip has been wonderful. This trip, sailing and biking is the best yet. I cannot praise enough the team who took care of us on the boat. Max, the chef was truly amazing and presented delicious meals that were innovative and enjoyable. Sabina made sure that we were comfortable and helped us tremendously with whatever need we had. Ryan who helped the captain and did extra work we needed was a wonderful sailor and took care of everything on the boat. Alwin, the captain was truly a gifted captain who guided our boat beautifully and gave a briefing every day. The boat was well taken care of, the cabins were clean, towels were provided whenever needed and the living spaces were comfortable and always clean. Great bike riding too with excellent maps and GPS. We sailed invite with our grandsons and had the most wonderful time even with the wind and rain some days. The bikes were always in good order. A great trip that I highly recommend and a great tour company as well. The office staff is extremely helpful and it is easy to book.

Wir hatten eine unvergessliche Reise mit der Elizabeth auf dem Ijsselmeer. Alwin und seine Crew waren klasse. Es hat einfach alles gepasst. Alwin ist ein leidenschaftlicher Skipper, der seine Elizabeth mit Liebe durch alle Brücken, Schleusen und Kanäle schippert. Er erklärt den Gästen wahrscheinlich jede Woche die selben Fragen aber er scheint nicht müde zu werden. Man ist bei ihm gerne willkommen am Steuer zu sitzen. Mit Witz, Charme und Humor begegnet er seinen Gästen und wir hörten ihm gerne zu, wenn er seine Geschichten und Erfahrungen von der See mit uns teilte. Reintje, der Matrose erklärte uns wie die Segel zu setzen sind mit Hingabe. Geduldig wartete er bis alle Seile richtig gewickelt waren. Max unser Koch ist eine Wucht. Wer ihn an Bord hat, darf sich glücklich schätzen. Jeder der ihn nicht kennt, verpasst eine nette Person und einen gigantischen Koch. Köstliche Leckereien zaubert er aus einer der kleinsten Küchen. Liebevoll kreiert er ein 3 Gängemenü mit frischen Zutaten und stellt diese vor der Abendessen jedes mal vor. Sabina, erfüllt die Wünsche unter Deck gekonnt mit ihrer sympathischen Art. Wenn es an Deck ans Segelsetzen geht, ist sie stets parat und hilft überall. Dass die Crew so toll zusammenpasst ist für die Gäste einfach genial. Wir haben auf dieser Reise auch nette Menschen kennenlernen dürfen und hoffen, dass wir sie eines Tages wiedersehen. Wir haben von dieser Woche viele Eindrücke an Deck und an Land mit nach Hause nehmen können und werden noch lange davon zehren. Wir bedanken uns für dieses Erlebnis. Claudi und Dagmar

We loved the boat and the experience Holland is a dream for biking. The Dutch people are absolutely a delight Everyone in our group loved our entire experience We were all made to feel at home and comfortable on the ship The ship was fantastic. Comfortable and spacious The customer service was very good from the office to the boat. The bikes were in great shape and checked every night . The chef was fantastic The food fresh and delicious We had two vegetarians who were thrilled with every meal. The bartender hospitality person on our boat was awesome and very attentive It was a dream vacation for our family to experience together Everything being take of allowed us all to relax and enjoy the ride both on the boat and on our bikes. We all enjoyed this vacation as much as we have ever enjoyed one. And we will be back soon.

Enjoyed great sailing, cycling and amazing food on our tour. We received a comprehensive briefing from our captain each morning explaining the days activities. Highly recommend this tour.
