Our family of four spent a week biking and sailing around the Ijsellmeer with Captain Alvin on the “Elizabeth.” We agreed it was the best vacation ever because we are foodies and the ship’s chef “Sasha” created delicious works of art for us to eat every day. Also the beer on tap was great. We had many fun adventures biking in quaint villages and sampling local pastries. But we especially enjoyed sailing the ship and socializing in the dining room which is cozy and comfortable for hours of card games, singing family songs, and telling stories. Most ships have limited bathing facilities but the Elizabeth has so much hot shower water that once someone set off the smoke detector with the steam from the bathroom. A hot, hot shower feels wonderful after an adventurous day of hiking and biking.

Why not 5 stars – Some bicycle tours where not of a great interest, could be improved a lot – the organisation of the meals could be better explained before booking : almost some small sandwiches to prepare ourselves with the food we didn’t eat at breakfast Good points – great staff – good food for dinner – lovely sailboat – some beautiful places visited – very good time repartition between lasting on boat and discovering Holland by bicycle

Great value and lots of fun!

We are a family of 3, we had a 8 days tour in the IJsselmeer sea on the boat Elizabeth . The tour was very well organised, crews are very helpful and easy going. Unexpectedly, the food on cruise was very good ! Cooking in movement is not easy, but our chef Peter has made it well ! So thank you Juana, Vicent, Peter and Alwin for having let us a very happy holiday .

great trip, great crew, great everything

A great experience on the Elizabeth. Good route information for the interesting and enjoyable routes- we did the long ones without issues. Perhaps some better details on getting to the firstwaypoint would help. Comfortable rooms and good food. It really felt like we were being welcomed to the crew’s home because of the warm and friendly hospitality.

Wir haben vom 30.06. – 07.07.2018 die kombinierte Segel- und Radtour am (und auf dem) Ijsselmeer mit der Elizabeth gemacht – mit nur 17 Gästen an Bord. Wir hatten fantastisches Wetter, eine tolle Crew mit Skipper Alwin, Alexandra, Vinzent und Koch Sandy. Höhepunkte war das Segeln mit allen 5 Segeln (einschließlich der Mithilfe beim Hissen und Reffen der Segel).
