The trip was a wonderful balance of countryside, towns and cities. We had a great time exploring the old historic cities and appreciated the stops along the way. Too many great things to mention really. Our guides were wonderful, and food and accommodations were top notch. I really can’t say enough good things about the staff each and everyone were friendly, skilled and knowledgeable. Our fellow travellers whom we met on the boat were also a highlight of the trip, each and every one of 20 or so passengers were a delight to spend time with and we had a great deal of fun together!

The tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable. They kept the group together at a good leisurely pace, leading us through the beautiful Dutch countryside, forests, farmlands, wetlands, and villages. They were quick to repair a flat tire for one of the riders when her tire picked up a tiny sliver of sharp metal. Stops every one or two hours for coffee, water, lunch, snacks kept up our energy and spirits, even when faced with a sudden drenching downpour or the infamous “Dutch wall” from 20km/h headwinds.
The dinners on the boat were amazing, accommodating our vegetarian diet. Breakfast was a buffet of fresh fruit, baked goods, cheese, eggs, juice, mueslix, and espresso, and we packed sandwiches for our lunches on the ride.
The cabin in the boat was cozy, with a comfortable bed, but most of our time was spent on the bikes, on deck, or in the dining area.
We would do another trip with Boat Bike Tours.

It was a wonderful trip. We travelled with family (6 of us). The food was great and it was nice to only unpack once. The biking trips each day allowed us to see over 300km of the Netherlands at a comfortable pace and we saw many cute Dutch towns and wonderful houses. The guides were great and very informative. The boat, bikes and staff were all great. We will likely seek out a future trip.

Can’t find enough superlatives to do justice to this! The tour guides, the food , the top notch ‘hotel’ boat and the organisation were all brilliant. If they could have fixed the weather on a couple of days, it would have been 6 out of 5
