The Captain, Crew and Tour Guides (Andre & Arendina) were all great. We thoroughly enjoyed the staff. The breakfast and lunch offerings were good but far too similar day after day. Adding a few more choices for both would be an enhancement. The evening meals were very good and the changes within the evening menus were a nice treat. The chef should be complimented. It may seem like a minor detail but there is not enough ice supplied to meet the demand. This is our 2nd Bike & Barge tour with you and in both cases, not enough ice for the drinks. We had approximately 40 Canadians on this ship (all friends) who love ice in their drinks and the ship could not accommodate our needs. Lastly and this is our big complaint. I had an E-bike that was fairly good. My wife switched to an E-bike after a couple of days. We should have saved our money. There was no E in that bike once you got over 15 km/hour. After the first day, there were no other E-Bikes available so we kept the one she rented. I switched with my wife because she could hardly peddle the E-bike we rented for her. Many others had problems with their E-bikes as well. Batteries dying half way through the route, not much E- juice in the bikes etc. So in closing, we had a great time but it’s time for some upgrades on your bicycles as that is half the time we spend on your cruises. Hi Brad, Thank you very much that you take the time to write us an detailed review. We’re so sorry to hear your experience was less than 5-stars and did not meet your expectations. we really appreciate you bringing up the probelem about the e-bikes. We are going to take immediate action and make sure that other e-bikes are boarded. we are very sorry that the extra e-bike you received on board was not satisfactory. A tip for next time is that you can already book e-bikes in time when making a reservation. Then before the trip starts we will make sure that there are working e-bikes on board. Some e-bikes that are still on board may have something wrong with them and need to go to the office for maintenance. This may be the one that was given to your wife. This is absolutely not allowed but it can happen. I would like to hear if you had to pay for this e-bike because if so we would like to issue a refund. Hope to hear from you soon Warm regards, Romy
