Had a very good time cycling from Bruges to Amsterdam, coming back to the Fluvius boat each evening. Food was excellent, as were cabins and guides. The bicycles were sturdy and panniers were supplied to carry packed lunches etc. Cycling usually finished around 3.30>4.00, tea/coffee and cake were available in the dining room. HIrdryer supplied on the room but no tea making facilities which did not affect us as we always travel fully equipped. Terrain very flat generally cycling through beautiful gardens, countryside and villages. Highest mileage was 36.6 miles in one day. Would recommend this holiday especially for a  maiden cycling holiday.

It was a very well organized trip but not over organized! The bikes were in good condition. The people were friendly and the food excellent. I am looking forward to another trip withe soon.

Twelve family and friends just finished the April 21 trip on the Fluvius, Amsterdam to Bruges. We all enjoyed it very much. The barge was super clean and comfortable. The chef prepared wonderful meals. The bicycling routes were very scenic, with short stops along the way for brief talks at historic sites. We felt the mileage was good: approximately 25 to 35 miles a day along flat routes through small towns and countryside. Our tour leader Guus was excellent. It was so nice to get back on the barge late afternoon and not have to plan where to go for dinner. We enjoyed the small size of the barge: 44 people. The crew and Captain were very friendly, nice and hard workers. We appreciated that our request for 2 tables of 6 to sit together was arranged. Email to the company ahead was easy and they responsed quickly to any of our questions. We had one of the new upstairs double rooms with a big window: worth the extra. Others in our group were downstairs and liked those rooms as well. There was also time to walk around the towns we docked in overnight. We highly recommend this trip.
