The bikes were great, terrific boat, the staff was professional and helpful and the itinerary was a trip of a lifetime. Only a few minor criticisms: the food was often mediocre and occasionally not very good, the on board singer was rough, really rough; the daily directions for bikers were sometimes confusing, especially for English speaking guests (we (English speaking guests) discussed it numerous times). But other than those minor issues, we would go again in a heartbeat. It was fantastic.

Very well organised. The boat Swiss Crown is comfortable, and the catering was exceptional. Very solicitous staff. Jurgen was the team leader for the biking – good info but sometimes not terribly precise in English; best he uses photos to show turns on paths, etc. a few rainy days was not the tour’s fault, was good despite that!

Great company and crew. Food good, rides well planned. Only complaint would be lack of a on boat and inadequate ac in rooms.

The boat that was my home for a week of boat/bike tour from Passau, Germany to Vienna, Austria, broke! The name of the boat that broke was called Arlene ll. So we had to hotel hop, pack and unpack our bag every day. It was hassle, stressful and made for a totally different trip. Our guide for the week was absent and not available for the entire week. We did not have daily briefings. We missed a lot of details, sights and previously scheduled events due to the confusion of hotel hopping, no briefing communication. Every hotel we stayed at served pork and potatoes for dinner, same meal for a week. It was unfortunate. I know it was not boat/bike fault for the boat breaking. A back up boat would of been a great option to have available to still experience what we all paid for. The Danube tour will always have a “hitch” in my memory. If your boat works, I am sure you will have a fabulous time!!

Trip was great as far as food, crew, and the rides chosen. My only complaint would be the lack of air conditioning on the boat. It was way too hot on boat after being hot all day. The cabins were supposed to have a but it was totally inadequate.

We had an excellent crew and tour guide. Attentive and friendly. Great accommodation, great food and great friends. The cruise and bike ride down the Danube from Passau to Vienna is very scenic.

Very enjoyable trip boat/bikes/crew were great. Our week was HOT, the refrigerator in the cabin didn’t work – in fact it acted as a heater inside the cupboard. Needs resolving. It should be noted joining instructions from the station are not clear. The boat docks at Racklau -winter harbor not at Altstadt where most of the other boats are. It will save a lot of walking as I suffered.

A really super way to experience the scenery and culture of another country. We had the benefit of cycling in the country air, rather than being cooped up in a touring vehicle, yet able to control our speed and effort with the benefit of electric bikes. The accommodation in the cabin suite was good and the breakfast and dinner choices were very good and beautifully cooked. You also get to pack your own lunch from the breakfast bar to enjoy at a stopover of your choice. A briefing every night on the next day’s trip minimised the chances of getting lost and gave information on places of interest to stop at. Our day off from cycling to explore Vienna and an evening classical concert with transport to and from the boat, was an added bonus. We would definitely recommend and will be looking to do another trip in the future.

The bik guide do not speak English!! Impossible to understand the explanation and the rute. The time to return to the boat was too short, no time to stop for rest and see the Biutiful towns or landscapes. A pity
