I’ve never had this much fun!!!!

A wonderful crew and bicycling guides! A trip of a lifetime. We lucked out with our fellow travelers – a super friendly bunch. All were supportive and caring and fun loving. The food was great as well. The rides were well thought out and enriching. The addition of after dinner walks in the cities were a welcome addition to the trip.

Loved the bike rides and the crew! Didn’t like the always wet bathroom floor. I wouldn’t call it sailing, but riding a diesel boat. We only put up two sails on one afternoon. The bike tour guides were great people, but didn’t know the local history or customs. Overall not great creature comforts, but a fun bike riding experience!

One of the best experiences in my 66 years!! Sailing in a beautiful 100 year old boat under the Oresund bridge?? I’ve driven over several times but never imagined sailing under it.
The food was exceptional, the crew was lovely, professional and genuine. The guides were delightful, the rides were well thought out and the experience was one I’ll repeat.
I would recommend the e-bike, my manual bike was a bit difficult on the longer rides.

This is our sixth adventure with Boat Bike Tours, and it is probably one of the best times we have had despite the wind and the rain on one particular day of biking. The sailboat was a beautiful refitted Barquentine with spacious comfortable public areas. The cabins were a bit small, but we did not spend much time there. We had knowledgeable and friendly caring guides, and the group of bikers was one of the best because each person was an experienced biker with warmth and consideration for others. The bikers were from all over the world, and we spent quite a bit of time laughing and talking. I cannot say enough good things about the crew not to mention the exceptional chef who provided the most delicious meals. The bikes were in excellent condition and the routes were well planned and not difficult. The entire boat was kept clean by the crew. The captain gave us quite a bit of information about the boat and about our itinerary. It was a wonderful adventure.

Great crew, interesting stops to bike. We enjoyed the day the sails went up and being able to ride the zodiac around the ship.

Excellent trip the boat is a antique

The cycling part of the trip was good. Cycling through Denmark was more stressful due to narrower paths and locals passing by you with high speed and no warning. Sweden part was more relaxed. Guides were not Danes or Swedes so we missed on some local information.
Advertising this trip as a sailboat and bike is misleading since we used some of the sails for about 4 hours during our one week trip. The sailboat itself is very old, cabins are small and bathrooms even smaller with bad plumbing. There is no ventilation of any kind and everything in our cabin was dump with water running down the walls in bathroom. We used Boat and Bike twice before and conditions were much better on both of them.
It didn’t help that 10 people out of 32 guests got, at some point, stomach problems (vomiting and diarrhea).
We had a medical emergency on board and one person needed to be evacuated. To that the crew responded very professional and effective.

This was the first trip of this kind by this crew and guides. It was my second trip with Boat Bike and I was embarrassed to have recommended this trip. Boat Bike did not train their guides on this destination. We could have done this as a self-guided trip no problem because the guides added little value. They were absolutely wonderful women and we liked them very much but they had not been trained to do this job. The routes were great but there were few excursions, little evidence of advance planning for breaks and lunch locations, and no info about the culture or history of what we saw on the route.
Do not take the Antigua mid summer!! It was May and quite cool (about 10-15 C at night outside temperature) but the rooms were hot.
The crew and crew culture led by Captain Douwe were fantastic. We helped hoist the sails and got a lesson about the ship from Sarah (fantastic). The food was great.

Very well organized and lots of fun! All the staff worked hard together to make sure we had the best possible experience.
The weather was a bit challenging but BBT adjusted the itenerary to make sure we got the most out of each day.
