OUTSTANDING Fleur crew and Montargis-Paris guides. This was our 3rd Boat Bike Tour and this one we brought 10 family members. Our trip exceeded everyone’s expectations. Our guides Hilko and William were excellent. Every day they huddled together to plan the next day. They should train other guides. They were masterclass. Stefanie our host/chef & her crew were superb. The food delicious & plentiful. Despite this being a smaller barge, it was the best for cabin & bathroom storage space. Highly recommend this barge and can’t wait to make our next boat bike tour. Lastly, the customer service and responsiveness via email is top notch. Thank you!

The food, guides, chef, and crew made this tour excellent. We really liked the surprise excursions and our guide Geert knew everything about art and history at every French locale.

It was well organised, the guides were very attentive and considerate with the guests. The routes were very nice and not too difficult, catering for all the levels of difficulty. Very good bikes. Food was delicious and the cook was amazing. The atmosphere in general was kind and I felt like we were in family.

We really enjoyed our tour from Paris to Montargis with Boat Bike Tours on the barge Fleur. Even though the cabins were small, they were very clean, and each one had an ensuite and enough storage room. The meals were excellent…a good selection for breakfast & the “make your own” lunch, and tasty & varied three course dinners. There was always tea, coffee & iced water available. This time we had ebikes which made the cycling so much more enjoyable. They were easy to ride & good quality. I had a flat tyre on the last day, quickly fixed by one of the guides. The guides were friendly & helpful & we visited some very interesting places. Just a couple of downsides…alcohol on board was expensive & the suggested tips should be included in the fare. Otherwise, a very positive experience!

This was my fifth bike tour with this company and I have been coming back to them because of the fun and interesting tours. I have found the tour guides well informed and always willing to answer questions and make little changes in the day if needed. They have listened to suggestions made by the participants. On all the boats the staff have been friendly and helpful. I like that now the possibility exists on most days, to choose the shorter or the longer ride. That was not possible during my first number of tours starting six years ago.

The crew on the Fleure was fantastic. Of course the countryside was amazing. The trip guides were new to the cycle routes which sometimes lead to interesting detours. The e-bikes and regular bikes were in good shape.

The accomodations were 2 star level poor ventilation and air system rooms very damp and cramped. The food was average but their seemed to be an issue with the amount of food available, their seemed to be some kind of rationing with the amount of food available. The staff was luke warm and somewhat blunt and not really accommodating. The bicycle tour was through Burgundy country but very little wine vineyard tours, I think the selection of sites to see during cycling should be reviewed . I would probably lean towards a 2.5 score on this experience. I would not recommend it to others

Food average was average, snacks after bike day were packaged cookies, windows in our cabin looked like they hadn’t be washed, guides sometimes started the tour again before the sweeper was ready, on change over day they were loading the boat again while we were trying to relax(very unprofessional, should have done it when we were out biking), staff was kind and courteous, Meals had a good variety with lots for those with a bigger appetite, felt like we were on a regimented schedule, never knew what time we were getting back to boat at the end of the day, Rooms always felt damp

We enjoyed everything. Our guide, Fred, was amazing. He was funny but always professional. The boat crew were always helpful and polite. The food was delicious. This was our second bike and barge and we highly recommend.
