Our week long boat and bike tour was an awesome experience. The crew was amazing and very organized with detailed cycling maps, delicious tasty variety of food and lots of it and the captain was very conscience of the weather and had to make some last minute changes. The crew were always friendly, happy and ready to do anything for us. The Lena Maria was a very comfortable boat with adequate size cabins. This was a wonderful way to get a closer look of the Netherlands.

The crew on board the Lena Maria was fabulous. They did everything they could to make sure we enjoyed our vacation. The meals and snacks were delicious. We felt like one big family on the boat.

Great tour, very well organized. Local boat and local crew. This was very different from our previous experiences with Boat and Bike and so much more pleasant and interesting than travelling on a boat chartered from a foreign company. We cannot stress enough that the entire crew was extremely devoted. The captain Eelke, doing his utter best to make the trip as confortable as possible. The ship’s boy Glenn, taking care of our bikes and so much more. And special thanks to our hostess Monique, always there and always available, and the chef Ruben who cooked healthy and awesome meals and pastries every day. Small group of people and self-service at the bar which makes it feel just like home… The only small suggestion that we could make is to maybe indicate, during the presentation of the next day’s circuit, the places where one can have a drink or food. The circuits pass through many beautiful villages but several of them do not have any cafés or restaurants or sometimes these are closed due to local habits (e.g. closed on Mondays).

We are still on cloud nine after our trip on the Lena Maria through Friesland and Terschelling. I don’t know where to begin without writing a novel. From sun up to sundown day in and day out, this was a trip that was full of amazing experiences. The food, fellowship and good times were all top notch. Hats off to our Captain Eelke and his entire crew for making this our new favourite way to visit The Netherlands!!! We will be back for another tour!!!

Had a wonderful time on the Lena Maria last week. The crew was so friendly and helpful. Roos and Lena were excellent in serving in housekeeping and made sure you had everything you needed. Laars did a fantastic job making sure we were well fed with his culinary expertise Ilkea was the best captain and maneuvered the boat expertly through the canals and lift locks. Enjoyed every minute of it

Lovely vacation. Best way to travel, bike tours every day through beautiful landscapes and small cities. Best service on board, friendly staff and good food. Highly recommended!

Friesland is a very beautiful area. The boat Lena Maria is a small boat with around 22 passagers and only 3 persons were managing our travel. The skiper, the cook chef and a young lady. They made a tremendous job, team spirit was excellent. The cook was really great and inventive. Crew was always calm, helpful and nice. Travelling in such conditions is fantastic, much better than on a bigger boat and less formal. We really felt free. Thank you for this tour

We love BoatBike tours and were happy to see a new one. The Lena Marie is a smaller ship which means a more homey atmosphere. Also very comfortable cabins with enough storage space and room for two. Meals were healthy and delicious. The bike tours well organized with tips on what to see and choices for shorter or longer routes. We missed the evening guided walks around the villages we docked in. Some strong winds pushed me to ask if there was an extra e-bike available. There was! The whole crew was very welcoming and helpful. And the scenery is as always, fantastic! The bikes are comfortable but heavy. Since we live far away, we can’t bring our own. We recommend this tour.
