The cycling was good. Good bikes. Nice scenery. Appropriate level of difficulty except some less experienced cyclists had difficulty in traffic circles. The dinners were inconsistent. Some were fabulous and a few were inedible. A greater wine selection would be good. The rooms were okay but the smell of mold was a problem. Also the beds were too short for people over 180cm.

Wonderfully organized tour! Loved every minute! Biking, eating, sailing the Rhone! Many thanks to a very dedicated initial reservation team and boat crew & guide.

Great tour. We were very spoilt with food and great housekeeping.

We are very satisfied and we have the very best guide. The only thing we missed was a little more space om the sunny deck.

The crew and tour leader made us comfortable and safe. We reserved e-bikes, and were glad we did. Our daily rides involved some hill climbing and these well-maintained bikes made it easier on us to keep up. Each day brought interesting rides and destinations. Carlos, our leader, pointed out sites, and scheduled good stops along the way. All staff were very very helpful. Lots of humor along the way!!

The trip surprised me in many ways: great route, excellent food, very professional and friendly staff. I will definitely recommend it to my friends!

Our trip was great, as usual but our guide was not the best, unfortunately. The guide couldn’t help it, he was put on this route as a last minute replacement, so he didn’t know this route and was very difficult as there are no sign posts on the little back country roads in France. The food and the atmosphere on the boat was great. Love those trip, done 3 now and more to follow for sure!

The crew on the Caprice- Fillipo, Sara and Stef made this tour amazing. The attention to details and friendly service were greatly appreciated. The food was outstanding. Our tour leader, Antonella was the best we have had. She was professional, knowledgeable and fun-loving. Our group of 20 riders from several countries blended beautifully and we had a great week despite the horrendous heatwave!

Outstanding trip. We were well and comfortably taken care of by tour guide and boat crew. A 5 star vacation.

Thanks to all aboard the L Estello for the wonderful week we had with our friends, old and new. We had a thoroughly enjoyable week with lots of fun and laughter, managing to strike a fabulous balance between bike riding, site seeing, eating, drinking and even some very funny dancing on the deck one night. The crew were amazing, making our holiday one that we will talk about for years to come. Thank you for all your hospitality and hard work, our  adventure before dementia was truly memorable …. at least it will be until the dementia sets in 🙂

Room and bathroom very small but clean and very comfortable. Crew was fantastic – our guide, Carlos, was so nice and made sure we had the opportunity to see as much as we wanted. Sara made very good meals – I thought I d want to go out to dinner on my own a couple of nights, but I never wanted to miss her meals. Fillippo, the captain was very nice and went out mornings to get fresh bread and baked goods, and Marta took care of the cabins and all of our needs – she was happy, entertaining and made us all feel so comfortable! There was a place to relax and socialize both indoors and out on the deck. The bikes had very smooth shifting mechanisms and the handle grips were very nice – several of us were interested in getting them for our bikes back home. The bikes were in good shape and we were provided a pannier and handlebar sac for our lunches and other personal items. There were plenty of stops for refreshments and to use the toilet – we wanted for nothing. It was my first bike and barge trip, but after such a great experience, I hope to do many more!

The people looking after us were amazing! We perhaps were very lucky with staffing….as Carlos was a very competent, accomodating and friendly bike tour guide; Max was an outstanding chef and provided an amazing varied menu which we all appreciated after a hard days bike ride; Dita was a very welcoming and endearing hostess and Christian was a friendly captain and even though many of us didn t speak his language we still could communicate! We believe we were so lucky to have these people look after us and provide such an enjoyable experience. Thank you so much=ØÞ Mandy & Tony (Australia)
