Best was to enjoy the French countryside. Able to explore unique museums, family businesses and French bakeries daily. Biking the country and seeing the canal system was delightful. Crew was knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. Boat was clean and well maintained.

This is a splendid way to travel! Boat Bike Tours contracts with a lovely barges, we were on The Fleur, with a great captain and crew, and I thoroughly enjoyed our knowledgeable guides. This was the first time for this route, so we were all having a new adventure together which was fun. I had a medical mishap and everyone was great in assuring I was well taken care of.

Excellent experience, second bike tour with Boat Bike. Options for less aggressive and more aggressive bikers. Not a good choice for people in bad physical shape or road bikers who want to go 50 km an hour. Food was good but not fancy. All the desserts were superb. Options for vegetarians and vegans but I would not choose that if you are not. Excellent guys Thomas and Fred who were mostly patient. Thomas had a particular interest in making the ride cultural and had an interest in history. Accommodations were beyond basic but definitely not luxury. Cabins are well designed and there is plenty of hot water. The crew on the Fleur was exceptional all the way around. I particularly enjoyed Rieke and Majda. The chef Barbara was a lot of fun and did a great job. We will go on another tour with them.

What a wonderful tour. The food was fantastic, the crew is amazing and the tour was so much fun. The boat was not crowded, only 15 customers and 7 crew members. It was an incredible trip. Will be doing a future tour.

We just completed the 8-Day Tulip Tour. It was an amazing experience. The entire crew of the Fleur made our trip very special. The guides Mijntje and Michiel were extremely caring and just full of information. Nothing was too much for them. We lucked out and had great weather for the entire trip. The colors of the flowers were magnificent. The pace of the tour was very good. Plenty of time for taking photos. I commend you on the paths that are chosen for this tour. I was concerned at first that we would be in and out of a lot of traffic, but that was not the case. Thank you for a most unforgettable experience.

Great value for your dollars. The variety of biking trails into the countryside and small villages were awesome! The walking tours into the cities/towns in the evening were very informative and highlighted their historical importance as well. The service on the Barge, Fleur was exceptional! The breakfast buffet and evening dinners were outstanding! Plenty of options for packing a lunch each day. I would highly recommend this Bike-Barge Tour.

We had a fantastic time aboard the Fleur for the Tulip Tour with Jens and Marleen as our guides. Many of the boat crew were delightful, and the food was excellent. If there were any issues on the ship, the crew were quick to address them. The group of passengers on our boat were all very nice and a quick camaraderie was formed between us all. The bike tour itself was outstanding. We opted for regular bikes, but many on our boat had e-bikes. The Dutch mountains (fierce headwinds) did make an appearance on couple of occasions, but we managed the week without electric assist. I will say there were some older folks (70+) on our boat who also had non-electric bikes and they managed, but wished they had opted for the e-bikes by the end of the week. We traveled in many different sized groups throughout the week and the level of care the guides took to make sure everyone was informed and looked after was above and beyond. There were numerous other boats doing the same tour routes as us, so it was great to get to meet those crews, passengers, and guides as well. Every night our guides offered a walking tour of each city we were docked in, and we even received a history lesson on the reclaimed lands from Marleen, our guide, whose family has lived there for quite some time. This was our first experience traveling like this and we were not let down in any way. I am looking forward to our next adventure with Boat Bike Tours.
