Can’t say enough about the gracious hospitality shown by our captain Salvatore, son Angelo, and daughter Vanessa. The Sundial is a family operation and a beautiful example of a wooden caique. The dinners prepared by Vanessa were OUTSTANDING and a high point of the tour. I greatly appreciated the opportunities to take a swim from the Sundial, and to visit other local beaches as well. The combination of swimming and biking was a big reason for choosing this tour. I was grateful for the headlamps provided for the nighttime Stromboli expedition. Thankfully there were no accidents and our able guide Jochen provided a helping hand when needed. Stromboli cooperated with continuous red-hot lava eruptions that were thrilling to watch. Ebikes were well maintained and fully charged each day, and very comfortable to ride. In the future, addition of rear view mirrors to the ends of the handlebars would increase the riders sense of safety. I would highly recommend this experience!!

This was our first BB tour and we absolutely loved it! Our guides, Eddie and Serge were outstanding, always attending to the safety of the group and very informative about history, cultural information and best places to get onshore meals. We also loved the playfulness and humor they brought to the group. Crew members were always helpful, and did a lot of ‘behind the scene’ work. Zlatko runs a tight ship bar, and we found him to be quite a character! Meal portions seemed large but the extra energy came in handy when pumping up those long hills. Highlight meals were the fish fillets, lasagna, chicken and pork with mushroom sauce and several of the salads. Low points were the overcooked tuna filets and leftover tuna fillet salad. We agree with others about wine choices and the prices. Our room was cozy and serviceable but being a thin wall away from motor noises on and off frequently throughout the night made a good night sleep hard to attain. Next time we will book earlier and get an above water cabin. We’d love to do another trip! Thank you

We had a wonderful trip travelling from Paris to Brugge. Cabins are small but you spend most of your day out and about, so it doesn’t matter. Highlights were beautiful rides through forests and villages, and just sitting on the top deck chatting and having snacks and drinks after the day’s events. The food was fantastic, three delicious courses every night, plus special tasting nights (cheese and beer) – also fabulous fresh bread and pastries every morning. The staff worked so hard to make sure we had an awesome time, there was always a choice about rides for the next day and of course, the option to stay on the boat if you felt the need. Guides were knowledgeable, funny and very kind. We will always remember this trip – it was a highlight of our stay in Europe.

Fantastic! Fabulous! Superb! Excellent! Outstanding! I m running out of superlatives to describe the boat, the crew, the itinerary and the guides on this trip from Cochem to Metz and back on the Magnifique III. The boat is comfortable and well maintained; the meals were tasty; the crew was friendly and helpful; the route was scenic; and the guides went the proverbial  Second Mile for guests on several occasions. A special thanks to the guides for making this trip extra special.

I’ve got a ride booked and need to talk with customer service. No one answers their phone (both US and NL numbers) or responds to emails. I’m terribly frustrated.

Great rides. Excellent food and accommodation. Croatia was beautiful. Blessed with gorgeous weather to boot.

The boat was great. Clean and spacious with lots of public areas to gather. Bikes were well maintained and easy to ride. The weather created issues that the crew and tour guides successfully worked around. The food was great and well presented. The bar was pretty well stocked and the drinks well priced.

Even if you have been on a river cruise before, you will discover that biking the country leads to a far more lasting experience. With e-bikes, only moderate fitness is required to participate. The routes varied from farms, forests, villages, and cities. We saw it all! Boat Bike Tours planned the routes to perfection. The guides were excellent. They were knowledgeable and managed the bicycling with confidence. They made sure we understood the rules of the road. The LaMar was a comfortable ship and easily accommodated the group. First-class meals, sailing, and service – with no buses. We had so much fun and are looking forward to another adventure next year!

This was our 3rd bike tour with boat bike. first 2 were in the Netherlands, this one was in Croatia with a partner of Boat Bike called island hopping. What i liked: – Food was terrific – Boat was excellent – Afternoon sails were very enjoyable What could be better – Maintenance of bikes was not good. We were a group of 32 people who all new each other. On the first day of biking there were numerous issues with the bikes – underinflated tires, wobbly tires, Batteries not fully charged causing some to pedal E bikes with no E, Seats that wouldnt stay in place, someones pedal fell off. – each day the biking seemed rushed. Instead of stopping alot to enjoy the terrific scenery – it felt like a rush to complete the biking – on day 2, people got lost. Not enough corners were placed. too many times people came to a fork in the road with no clear direction – the main person working the bar did not seem that happy/friendly. Each time i asked for a cup of ice or a drink, it felt like i was bothering him. I ended up buying my own ice than deal with him. – Last day of biking was down right dangerous. We left Trogir and crossed a bridge to another island. Road was poor quality and full of traffic. Someone fell and nearly got run over. This day was not even on the agenda – Our boat followed another boat each day. So instead of our boat coming into port each day by ourselves, we always had another boat pull up next to us. An extra 30 bikers. Also was noisy having another boat tied up to us at all times. – Tour guides were OK but when asked what we were going to do each day, they would not tell us anything in advance – very strange compared to my first 2 trips with Boat and Bike. our first 2 trips with Boat Bike were excellent. This one felt like a different company with a different approach and attention to detail. If this was my first boat bike tour i probably would not have done another. I will stick with tours operated by boat bike themselves and not a partner

I call it grown up camp! The organization is great. Our guides Mary Ann and Mariah were both phenomenal! Marnick our Captain was top notch. Jamie Jo our hostess was always on point. Tomek the sailor got it done! And Joell, the chef, made every single meal magnificent! We recommend BoatBikeTours to everyone who will listen.
