The barge exceeded our expectations in comfort and style. The crew was effective, helpful and friendly. Our two tour guides (Corey and Hetty (sp.)) were exceptional— fun, knowledgeable, and hard-working. The food was fantastic – delicious, varied, fresh, and well-prepared. The biking was great, despite some only okay weather. The bikes were first-rate, just right for the biking we did. The company could have facilitated us passengers getting to know the other passengers’ names better, for example by having the passengers introduce themselves to the group and distributing a list of passengers’ names. Finally, the other passengers on our trip were a true joy – friendly, diverse (at least geographically), fun-loving, and genuine.

The crew made us feel welcome the moment we arrived. Peter, our bicycle guide was outstanding! He gave us history information along the way, and we traveled at a nice pace. Peter always took the time to answer questions on and off the barge. The onboard crew was great! The chef, the food, the waitstaff, and of course, the Captain were exceptional!! The only improvement I would suggest-shorten the time between courses at dinner. That may not be possible due to the attention to detail the chef has on each course. We are already looking at our next bike/barge trip.

Beautiful boat, comfortable room/bed/bath, attentive staff and bike leaders. The food was delicious, and mealtimes were enjoyable. The bikes we rode were comfortable, easy to operate, very little maintenance issues along the way. My only “suggestion” would be when a large number of people choose one route, it would be nice, especially when biking towns/villages/cities, to have a person in the middle of the group to make sure we don’t get lost and can learn to navigate the city streets with assurance!

First of all, we were greeted in a friendly and accommodating way, all the staff were polite and so willing to please. The boat was clean and beautiful. The weather was perfect. All the other guests were so friendly, like minded, and a joy to be with. I think the combination of all these things, plus tour guides that went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience, and a Chef that was amazing, made this trip an experience of a lifetime!!! I can not thank the staff and especially the tour guides, who made our biking and special tours such a life-long memory.

This was such a great experience on our boat and bike tour from Bruges to Amsterdam. The ship was clean, well cared for and the rooms surprisingly … Roomy. The on board staff of Captain Chris, First mate Alexis, Chef Michel and do everything hands Correy and Laura was absolutely first rate and the meals were excellent. The daily biking was lead by Tom and Nina who were both excellent guides. The pace was good and we saw beautiful scenery in the countryside and a taste of the larger cities. If I could give this a six star review I would!

This was my first time in Europe and the Boat Bike tour took me through large cities and small.villages that i would not have visited on my own. The guides were informative about the history of each area, and of the industries prominent to each area. The amenities on the boat were very nice, kept clean and geared for bike travel. The chef, Michel, made a different meal each night, and presentation was well done. Breakfast and our own made lunches worked out great as our bike rides were from 9 am to between 4 to 5 pm daily. I would have liked to have a bottle rack on the bike to allow for constant hydration.

We loved everything about this trip. The staff on the Magnifique IV were friendly and welcoming. Chef Michael made the best meals. Our guides Nina and Tom made sure to show us the sights while biking. They also highlighted unusual features in the areas we stopped at. We liked supporting the local farms and cafes at our breaks.

Our trip was wonderful. Tom and Nina were great guides. Nina was on an e-bike and kept a rather fast pace for those of us on pedal bikes. Tom’s pace was perfect. The food was great but the BBQ meal was a bit disappointing as some meats were rather bland and I didn’t get to sample the best meats. I suspect they ran out. The crew was wonderful. You exceeded my expectations. I liked the pedal bike, but the pace in headwinds was tiring when riding with a guide who had an e-bike. The visits to farms was great. The daily paths were also great. All around this was a five star experience.

This was an incredible experience. The trip was postponed due to Covid, but gave us the opportunity to enjoy the adventure more. Would highly recommend boat bike to anyone potentially considering it!

Very good team. All nice and efficient. Boat was clean, new and well equipped. Food was excellent, not like a cruise buffet but instead a fine restaurant.
