It’s glorious summer and whether you’re basking in sunshine or already at your desk again, the prospect of going back to the usual routine is never very appealing. But there’s a bright side. One of the few consolations of returning home from a vacation is… looking forward to the next one!

That’s why this summer we’re already busy with one of our favorite activities: travel planning! Our tours have become so popular that they’re being booked a year in advance. To keep up with demand, we’re introducing a bunch of fresh new trips for 2020.

So whether you’re planning your next trip, or just daydreaming about future vacations, we can’t resist taking you through our new tours for 2020.

Plan your trip

France: The land of good living

Next year we have even more France in our program. This new addition is a tour through northern Burgundy. Be prepared for a sensory overload. In this extremely beautiful environment every river bend or bike path turn reveals a new perspective: medieval villages from a painting or waterways lazily winding their way through the landscape. And let’s not forget some of the best wines, cheese and local produce that you’ll ever taste. In other words: pure pleasure!

The Fleur or the Zwaantje are waiting to welcome you on board.

Grape harvest in the Moselle Valley

Our tour from Koblenz to Merzig (or vice versa) follows the Rhine’s beautiful little sisters, the Moselle and Saar rivers, to show you one of the most beautiful cycling routes in Germany.

And that’s not all. We take you on a journey of discovery through this traditional wine region during the best season of the year. It’s here, while the late summer sun ripens grapes on vine-covered slopes, that the harvest begins. So you can not only taste a glass of good wine with the winegrower, but also see with your own eyes how this fine wine is produced.

Aboard the Flora you’ll have an unobstructed view of castles and fortress walls, towns and vineyards and so much more along the Moselle and Saar rivers. Have your camera ready!

Sailing, cycling… and tulips!

All good things come in threes. That’s what you’ll experience on our spring sailing tour around the province of North Holland. On one of our magnificent sailing ships you can feel the wind in your hair and even help set the sails yourself. On land you can explore the wild and romantic dunes of the North Sea, and the picturesque harbor towns along the Ijsselmeer by bike.

And the cherry on the cake? Tulips, and plenty of them! Not only do we make a detour to the famous Keukenhof flower gardens, but some of the daily cycling tours will take you through North Holland’s blooming tulip fields. Highly recommended to get you the spring mood!

History with a personal touch

Since the Hanseatic city route is one of our most popular trips, you can now get even more of it. In 2020 we’re introducing a guided version of the Hansa Highlights tour. Cycle on relaxed bike paths to discover idyllic river valleys, peaceful heath landscapes and magnificent medieval towns.

On this intimate tour of no more than 20 passengers, our experienced travel guide is always there to lead the way and answer questions, so you can learn even more about this region steeped in history.

Welcome Magnifique IV

One of the most exciting prospects for 2020 is that our popular Magnifique fleet will get a new sister: the Magnifique IV. At present our new flagship is under construction. You can see the transformation in progress on our Facebook photo album.

The Magnifique IV will be a wonderfully luxurious premium ship with plenty of room: she’ll have 10 spacious suites, 8 large double cabins and a tastefully furnished saloon with a welcoming bar and lounge area. Below deck you’ll find the charming restaurant with a view of the kitchen action through a glass wall. The Magnifique IV will be traveling on our tours between Amsterdam and Bruges. You’re welcome on board!
