The boat and cruise were wonderful! A couple of hiccups/suggestions: We missed one day of riding due to the locks breaking (unfortunate but not a big deal), so we were unable to make it back to Passau by boat. We were told that we would be disembarking in Pochlarn and transported by bus (again, understandable). However, that morning we were all required to get out of our rooms by 8:30 so they could clean. We weren’t due to get to Pochlarn until noon. Every passenger had to remove their luggage and wait in the lounge until disembarking. There were 2 bathrooms available for all passengers and I’m pretty sure that they would have had time to clean otherwise. There were no trips planned immediately afterwards. All translations to English ceased that morning also. This all took place after the crew had collected their reviews and tip envelopes. Honestly, it left a little bit of a bad taste in our mouths after what had been a really nice trip. We hope you’ll relay these comments to the SE group.

The staff were amazing, friendly helpful. Everything was well organized. We did find the tour info meetings could have had better info and sometimes the meetings were held before riders were back on the boat.

The boat and cabins are lovely and very comfortable. Most of the staff are kind and helpful. The food available for lunch could use a bit more variety. The thing that would be helpful would be a detailed, printed itinerary for the entire trip. Not having all the detailed information (by date) meant we had to ask many questions throughout the cruise. A specific example was that the information about our day in Vienna was not shared until the night before and therefore it was a surprise to find out how little time we had there.

The ship was excellent, the views were fantastic, but the bike riding experience for the English speaking tourists was very average.

Our Boat bike down the Danube with SE Tours was exceptional. The crew were fantastic, the cruise stops well planned and organized, welcome and farewell as well as all the prep meetings were well planned and inclusive, the food was excellent and the opportunity to bike with our saddle bags full of a picnic and well laid out routes was sensational. I highly recommend this tour and will definitely do another.

What a great selection of towns to visit and bike routes to get us there! The boat staff was awesome, the food was great, and the amount of riding was perfect. The app with everything we needed to know was so helpful and complete, with excellent routing info for each day.

The staff the food the location simply magic and the rooms and bicycles were very good If this is billed as a bilingual tour the english tour guide needs a better command of the language. There were staff on board with superb english It would help is ferry costs and payment methods were noted in the trip notes A staff member who was a regular cyclist could be useful especially in danger zones like riding out of budapest Would it help to also give road rule guides for the different countries we enter? Overall the routes were beautiful and the scenery amazing and all staff enthusiastic Thank you

Really good

Staff tried very hard to meet our restricted dietary requirements.

I loved the food, the cleaning staff and the people unloading the bikes. The rooms were great as were the bikes and the scenery. What I didn t like was the lack of information in English of the places we visited and what to expect the next day.

The restaurant, e-bike and tour director staff were very friendly. The boat needs a face lift. Carpet and chair material frayed. I would have paid a little extra for the trip to have drinking water, tea and coffee available in the afternoon. The showers did not hold a steady temperature making showering less enjoyable. The tour directors English was terrible causing many communication issues.

The experience was what we had expected for the most part. The service was good, the bikes were superb and the crew was helpful with the bikes. However, there was a lack of explanations and instructions in English, and we booked with an English company.
