This is an amazing trip! The boat is perfect. Lots of room in the cabin. Lots of storage room so don’t worry about the luggage. The bathroom is large. The food is amazing and the crew is awesome. Highly suggest the e-bike even if you are a strong rider as the winds can be really strong. My wife and I tried to think of something they could improve on and found nothing.

I have used the Lena Maria before. Four years later and a wonderful experience again with wonderful meals, great services and well planned trip

Als wichtigstes hat die Crew diese Tour großartig gemacht. Die Tatsache, dass nur 8 Passagiere auf der Tour waren, war natürlich glücklich und hat die ganze Woche sehr familiär gemacht. Außerdem war(en) auch die Strecke(n) sehr schön und wurden sehr gut erläutert.

This BB tour was absolutely great great BUT; The BIKES are not good enough. The tyres are too thin leading to an uncomfortable ride. Years ago when the bikes were rented locally they always had the more comfortable thicker tyres. Many Germans on thiese tours have their own bikes – all with thicker tyres. I know r that you are trying to take up the minimum space with the bikes, but a good comfortable bike is essential. We cannot fly into Amsterdam with ebike batteries so we have to use your bikes. If you have better bikes with bigger tyres we will do another BB tour (our 10th). Thank you

The Lena Maria is a nice boat! The crew is great! The food was outstanding!! Our guide, Tammy, was super! Friesland is beautiful and very interesting. The only negative feedback is that the rental bicycles are not very  solid .

Friesland was fantastic. Very relaxing riding in the beautiful countryside through farms and small villages with none of the hustle and bustle of big cities. The boat ride to and from the islands was an added pleasure that I didn t expect. The boat was very nice, air conditioned but the weather was cool enough that it wasn t needed. The meals were all what you would expect at an expensive restaurant with a professional chef! All of our crew mates were interesting and very friendly. Finally, our tour guide Tammy is the best. She researched all of our routes beforehand and knows the county side and history intimately. We were unable to use ride by GPS as we did the route in reverse but it didn t matter. Overall this was a fun and relaxing trip and a very good deal. We will plan on taking future trips every year with Boat Bike Tours.

Pre arrival and boarding information was excellent. The app for cycling. Fantastic crew, informative, and so helpful. The chef created some delicious meals every day. The size of the barge was perfect, just the right amount of people, everyone got along and it never felt crowded

Boat was comfortable and captain and crew were great. Also enjoyed biking terrain Friesland was very beautiful

Fantastic adventure on the Flora with excellent crew, interesting travel companions, beautiful places to see, delicious food, and safety as a priority.

Friesland is beautiful with lots of pretty towns to stop for a break or lunch. The bike system is great in the Netherlands. Our small group had no trouble navigating without a guide. The Lena Marie Captain and Crew were all very informative and friendly. The food was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The other guests on the trip with us were all very interesting and fun! No complaints!

We had a wonderful trip with Boat Bike touring the Frisland area of the Netherlands on the Flora. This area has a lot of interesting things to see – canals, farms, sailboats, horses. The weather was changeable and a small adjustment had to be made to the route one day due to high winds – but the unique bike signpost system in the Netherlands means it is very easy for Boat Bike to make a change to the day’s rides (a short and longer route were usually presented). The RideWithGPS app was particularly useful, with the routes already uploaded. The food on the boat was excellent, thoughtfully including elements of the local area such as cranberries and fish. I appreciated the coffee machine being available around the clock. The crew made everyone feel at home, even helping our British group to find a pub to watch an important game! This is our 3rd bike/barge trip in the Netherlands.

Fantastic trip on the Flora around Friesland. We have been once before on the Flora and again we re very happy with our holiday. Berthus and his team organised a great tour. Frank the chef was amazing!
