First timers to the bike and barge. Loved it. Especially using the ebikes made riding 30 plus miles a day a breeze. I was worried about being able to do it as I’m 66 and not a regular biker but I kept up with the group no problem. And there were others older in the group. Loved biking thru the beautiful scenery in Germany Austria Hungary and Slovakia. Would love to do it again. Yes the crew was great and especially Petra kept us well informed of all the pertinent details of our daily tours.

Great food, lovely crew and comfortable cabins. I would go again.

The accommodations were ok. The food was adequate but nothing special. The bike routes and bikes were very good. I would have liked more explanation about sites to see along the way. Also, we experienced very high water and so had to alter our schedule. While I understand this was out of your control, more frequent updates as to delays, alternative plans, etc would have been very helpful. In particular a more accurate prediction of our arrival time in Passau could have been communicated earlier. This made it difficult to arrange for our driver who ended waiting 3 hours for boat to arrive. This was our third trip with your company and our first you arranged for us on a Rad & Schiff boat. Our experience on the Rad & Schiff tour was not up to the same standard as our trip on Boat/Bike in 2018.

Expectations were sky high after our trip last year on the Magnifique II Amsterdam to Bruges which was amazing and 5 star. Arlene II -the food was average with most dinners tasting like frozen prepared foods. Water was only available with dinner if you purchased a bottle. Smoking was supposed to be done only on the sun deck but even after several requests people were allowed to smoke at the doors which allowed smoke to travel down the hallways to our suites. Hotel manager and tour guide were not very friendly or helpful.Entertainment was in German only. Biking was very nice and our suite cabin was nice, We would not go on this particular tirp again but look forward to going again on a trip next year on the Magnifique with friends.

Generally the bike/boat experience exceeded our expectations. The boat was very comfortable. Dining and bar area spacious and very nice. Food was fantastic, great selection and amazing 5 course dinners. The biking trips mostly well organized, had a little trouble with the maps one day but the distances were very doable with breaks during the day. One day 2/3rds of our group had intestinal issues, so did other parties on the boat. We felt that crew could have made an announcement as soon as we made them aware for strict hand washing and hand sanitizing before and after dining to prevent further contamination. Tour guide made great bus trip accommodations when our boat could not make it to Budapest due to low water. Would definitely consider a boat bike tour again!

The ship was fine, the staff wonderfullly attentive. However when bikes malfunctioned and a virus went through the boat – no one took responsibility for those issues. They also need to have the trail on GPS so people don’t get lost.

Enjoyed the boat and the riding was great with beautiful scenery. The food was also excellent.

This was our 4th bike/barge trip and this was our largest boat. The ship was comfortable and the staff were very helpful. Meals were first class–quality and quantity. Low water levels limited biking some days unfortunately, which can’t be blamed on the tour company, but efforts were made to find replacement tours. The route maps and written instructions could be more clear but the navigating challenge adds to the fun.
