Day one: Those of us who paid for a guide were terribly disappointed. She was unorganized and appeared to be unfamiliar with the GPS system provided to her by your company. She therefore was lost, along with those she was guiding, for a better part of the day resulting in us having to cycle 90 km over 7.5 hours, with limited rest breaks and stops at points of interest. Of the 10 ebikes, 8 ran out of battery power. I gave up my ebike to another rider because she was exhausted and said she could no longer cycle unassisted. Early in the day a rider fell off her bike and scraped herself pretty good. The guide was so far out in front of our group she had to be found by another rider and told about the incident. She did not appear to have a first aid kit. Kind bystanders provided the disinfectant and cleaning material for the wound. Our guide continued to cycle too far out in front of the group. I was the sweep for the day and assisted and made sure the riders were okay to continue seven times. There was no assistance from the guide crossing major roadways. The second tour guide was no where to be seen throughout our ride. Day 2: our guided group disembarked the boat and we’re ready to go when it was discovered that one of the ebikes had not been charged overnight. The guide admitted this was an oversight and should not have happened. He went back to the boat for another battery but the boat had left the dock. The client who needed the battery was quite short and because of this she had a bike that a battery could not be swapped out and she could not safely ride any of the other bikes that other riders had ordered her. She agreed to try to cycle manually so the second guide stayed with her for the day. I was the sweep again. Because of the extended delay sorting out this matter, three riders left the group to go on their own. We were delayed by almost an hour which meant shorter stops with only one stop at a point of interest in order to get back to the boat in time. Day 3: At last night’s briefing we we informed that some of the locks were closed for repairs and that the boat was going to be navigating a different route. This would result in increasing today’s ride to 70 km. High winds and thunderstorms were forecast. Many clients with ebikes were concerned that we would run out of battery power again. Those without ebikes were reluctant to bike that far. It was strongly suggested by our guides that we should stay on the boat for the day. Only 5 clients of 38 biked today. Day4,5,6 were okay but limited stops at points of interest. The last day the second guide cycled on his own for the day.

We had a great experience. I wasn’t sure what to expect or if this was a trip for me with all of the biking. There was a lot of biking and I was able to keep pace. My wife and I had a wonderful time and met many interesting people on the ship. The crew and tour guides were the best.

this was my fourth trip with Boat and Bike and, even if I was completely happy with the previous one, this was the best. I particularly enjoyed the ship (Fluvius) which is small (22 cabins and it wasn’t full) and that gave the whole services a more attentive look. I particularly liked the meals: the breakfast buffet was amazing, if something was missing the waiters were ready to supply again. The chef prepared something special every day for our packed lunch, included delicious salads! The 3-course dinner was delicious. I had the vegetarian menu and every meal was a surprise. All the people from the crew were particularly ready to satisfy our needs, and they did it always with a smile! The two tour guide, Franklin and Carla, gave us detailed information on our trail, including cosy cafès and fresh strawberry dispensing machines! They too were always ready to help with a smile. (which, for me, makes a big difference!) I think they have also to deal with a problem in our itinerary, as the boat couldn’t reach Antwerp through the planned way, and I think our new route was not as interesting as the due one. But they could suggest some plave to stop that made the route interesting. on the whole, I am super satisfied with every single aspect of my trip; I can’t mention everything, (cabin, cleanness, bikes, informative material…) but everything was top rated!

We loved the routes that we took. We loved the flexibility and adaptability of the crew and our fellow travelers when the route needed to be changed. The accommodations were very clean and good. The food was excellent. Our hosts were wonderful with their care, their well prepared tours into towns, and their consideration for each one of us. It was nice at the end of each day to return to our own cozy room. Each day the journey was beautiful. We will spread the word to friends and look forward to your new journeys.

The cycling portion was certainly the highlite. Food and room sizes left something to be desired.

First biking day was not held for some unknown reason. First night stay was in an industrial area not suitable for tourists Rescheduled route from Antwerp to Ghent was very poor for scenery. The majority of the trip was excellent. Marie Jose was a great guide.

Ha sido una gran experiencia, es nuestro 3 viaje con bout bike tour y nos han gustado mucho , pondría un desayuno un poco.mas completo teniendo encuentra que de ahí sale el Lunch, y añadiría leche caliente , del resto increíble y la guía espectacular.

I loved the group cycling and group support. The meals and lodging were excellent. I did not like the app for the different locations; we need more review and training in this department to make it less stressful.

My initial review was truncated to 5 words. The wonderful personalities of the crew brought all the passengers into close friendship. We told stories, laughed, danced, drank& and biked a lot of miles into the wind with Mischa and Franklin encouragement.

The guides and the staff on board really made this trip top notch. The chef and food were fantastic and the breakfast and packed lunch options were perfect. The accommodations were fine/standard and it was lovely to sit on the upper deck and enjoy the scenery. Our group of 6 had a great time and enjoyed making new, international friends. I would do this again.

I thought everything was done very well. The staff and the bike guides were great. This was my first Boat Bike Tour and it was a great experience.
