The quality of the bikes could be better. Bikes should have water bottle cages. The amount of time spent at stops while on the tour should be reduced, especially if there is nothing to see. A list of participants and countries should be given to everyone. The routing was very good and enjoyed the stop at the cheese factory and the castle.

The staff on the Flora made our week pleasant, comfortable, and easy. The chef was excellent and a lot of fun as well. They worked hard so we could play hard. We were celebrating a special occasion, and the other guests and the staff made it a lifetime memory. It was like a happy dream.

We booked the Maastricht to Amsterdam ride from September 17 to 24 2022, and it was great. The boat was perfect for what we were looking for, with private and quite cabins, each with their own bathroom. As shown on the company’s website the cabins aren’t huge, but they were exactly what we were expecting. The dining room and outdoor sitting area were also great, along with all of the meals provided by our wonderful chef. The crew overall was fantastic, always eager to ensure our trip went great. In particular our guide Simon was amazing, both during the guided cycling days as well as entertaining us all in the evenings with songs and trivia contests. All in all the trip was fantastic and we will definitely use Boat Bike Tours on our next trip.

We had a really nice trip. We brought a group of 11 and all had a great time. The crew was very friendly, informative and helpful. Not to mention lots of fun! Enjoyed learning new games to play ( thanks Sander and Robin!!) Our guide, Simon, did a fantastic job!! We learned a lot from him. Such a great way to see the country!!

I have been fortunate to have taken many vacations, this one however, topped them all. Our boat, crew and fellow passengers were all excellent travel companions. Wilmie, our guide was helpful, informative, knowledgeable and knew just when to take a break. Our Captain, Sander was friendly, got to know us and helped the crew and passengers whenever the opportunity presented itself. The rest of the crew, Marlene our hostess, Pietro the chef and Krzystof were all amazing as well. The cycling was very well planned out and the nightly tours of the various towns we were in were a bonus and only helped those on the tour to get to know each other better, while having a more culturally immersed experience. Location, food, boat and crew were all wonderful. All in all a fantastic experience. Thank you!

This was a wonderful trip along the moselle, on the Sarah. Our guide, was excellent guiding us trough the many villages. The crew was very attentive to our needs and the food was very good.

We had the most wonderful time! The weather was wonderful. The staff on the boat were super helpful. And the riding was great, and well paced. The food on the boat was also delightful. The *only* thing that wasn’t just fabulous was that, a couple of nights, it was a bit warm and the small cabins on the boat got pretty hot. But everything else was A+!!

I was in need of an adventure and when I found out about and reserved a spot with Boat Bike Tours I knew I was on my way having a terrific time. I wasn’t disappointed one little bit. The captain and crew were amazing, the accommodation’s were comfortable and food was excellent. The ride was spot on, riding through beautiful countryside or bustling cities at lower speeds with stops to enjoy lunch and new found friends.

This was a nice and pleasant trip with well chosen bike routes. Cabins were clean and staff was very friendly. Food was good, but the vegetarian option had hardly any protein, only vegetables. Only minor point was that there was a case of covid on board and the passengers were not informed on time, which could have caused problems for those who needed to travel by plane or to a location were isolation was possible.

We had a wonderful time, the food was delicious, and route was beautiful. Too bad Corona couldn t stay away and we disembarked with a positive test. Quite a few people were infected. There was only a hand sanitizer station, and was sparsely used. Our next stop was visiting family before going back home. Instead we had to stay in quarantine before going back to Canada. The main focus of the trip was visiting family. We think that there could be better precautions and ask people to test when feeling ill.

This is my second Boat Bike Tour and I would book again. I loved the daily bike riding through the countryside and small towns of Holland. We met interesting, like minded people on board and the staff were phenomenal – fun, kind, caring, competent folks who really worked hard to make the week a success. Wilmie, our guide was amazing. Food was good and plentiful. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the beds are a bit hard and the pillows need to be improved.

Exploring the Netherlands by bike is a wonderful way to visit this country. What a joy it was to meet our boat at the end of a day of cycling. After a delicious dinner, drinks and socialization, we were always offered the option of a guided tour around the community where we were moored. The tour was very well organized. Our boat was clean, and accommodated a group of 19 perfectly. The crew was cheerful, friendly and always ready to help out. Our guide was very knowledgable about the areas we were visiting and went out of her way to share this information with us. Her love of her country was infectious. My only suggestion for improvement is that more attention needs to be paid to upfront bicycle maintenance. Regardless, I am already looking at Boat Bike’s future tour offerings.
