We had a exceptional experience. The crew was amazing. The meals delightful. The tour leader experienced and charming. The quality of the experience cycling through the countryside and small villages – the bird song, animals, landscapes and scents – pleasantly surprised this non-cycler.

A great adventure with an opportunity to discover a less touristic part of the Netherlands. I’m all for e-bikes now and not regular bikes as it makes life so much more pleasant ! A nice international atmosphere onboard too with a first-rate multilingual guide and other friendly members of the crew. The only problem was that most participants were German for this boat and bike trip and my German was far too rusty !

This was my 9th bike/barge trip with Boat Bike Tours and Eurosail. Everyone has been perfect! The Chef’s have been top notch; tour leaders very knowledgeable and accommodating; Captains are amazing in how he/she squeeze the barge through tight canals, barges very clean, Covig awareness a high priority. This last trip I did not bicycle but stayed on board the whole week and watched the world go by from the comfort of the deck. Can’t wait to go again. M. Maraggio, Cape Cod, USA

Vandaag teruggekomen van een tour Amsterdam-Maastricht. Alles was TOP! Heel lekker gefietst, ondanks het niet al te beste weer. Heerlijk gegeten. Fijne douche aan boord.

Great trip. The food was tasty, the bikes sturdy, the guide interesting and the ship clean. It was all I’d hoped for.

This was a Great Trip!! The boat ( Sarah) was comfortable, the food excellent and the crew and guide a pleasure to know. I liked the small number of passengers aboard and I will definitely be looking for a similar tour in another area.

Amsterdam to Maastricht. Just the right size, only 20 spots available. Food was good and cabins were nice enough, but as the Captain said, they need air conditioning. The fan was sufficient. The smell of diesel fuel was always present. The seats on the bikes were so large and hard that several ladies had to stay on the boat for the fourth day due to blisters and I was sore for a month and a half after the trip. I am used to a bike seat that has a groove down the middle and is thin. These seats were like riding on a baseball bat. Tour guide was great. It would have been five stars except for the seats and the diesel smell.

The trip itself was great. Loved the guide and the crew. The issue that I have with the trip is that the business office for Boat Bike Tours is dysfunctional. We got numerous emails about non-payment even after going through several rounds of proving we had paid. The people in the business office were completely unhelpful in resolving the issues we had. Essentially everyone on our boat had the same issues so our experience was also the experience of others. It is too bad because the trip itself was really great.

Great biking experience through the Netherlands with an incredible guide, Fred. These biking trips are magical and full of new discoveries in various towns along the way. There s so much to do but in a relaxed atmosphere. Who doesn t like sipping coffee by a canal or touring a crystal/glass factory or ending the day with a cold beer? Thanks for helping us really get to be a part of the places we visit.

Fun group of mixed nationality and ages. Crew was friendly and very willing to help. The ride route was easy and always interesting

The guide was great. The staff was great. The food was great. The boat stunk of diesel fuel, but fortunately we were off and about seeing the beauty of the Netherlands.
