Booking with Bike Boat Tours was simple, they were very responsive with any questions. Our week on the barge was as described, and we enjoyed it very much. The staff onboard were helpful and efficient. The 2 bike tour guides were available and helpful during the day, they were out biking the route should anyone run into trouble (ours was a self-guided biking tour). The GPS App for the biking routes was great, although there were a few glitches. We were also given good maps with the biking junction points, which allowed us to easily customize our cycling route (if/when we wanted to). Would definitely recommend renting an ebike so to enjoy the biking, and not have to be out of breath in the hilly areas, and on the windy days. Although the breakfasts and lunches were good, there was not much variation from day to day. Dinner was good, but not amazing. There were main course options of fish, meat or veggie main course for dinner each evening…which would be chosen each evening for the following day. We would have preferred to not have to sit with the same people for breakfast and dinner everyday. Perhaps another system could be put in place, that guests could choose where to sit…yet the servers could easily see which meal each guest had ordered.

We went on the Hansa Highlights tour and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The tour was well organized with options for shorter or longer rides. The staff is courteous and friendly and makes the boating experience enjoyable and informative. Food was delicious and plentiful. Would definitely recommend.

It was a wonderful experience. The boat was in great shape. Our room was excellent. The crew was allways fun. Good food and drinks. The bikes: could use a tune up and air in the tires. The weather: one bad day out of six. Overall it was a great time and we’ll do it again.

This was my fifth barge/bike trip although just the first with this company. Consequently I can t help but make comparisons.The boat was the nicest and most comfortable of the five trips, but the dinners were sad in comparison. Breakfast buffets were plentiful, but dinners were far inferior to the other boats. There was plenty of food, but sadly cooked. The staff with the notable exception of the guide was helpful and friendly. The guide couldn t be bothered to get defective or poor fitting bikes in order until a veiled threat to call the main office got results. A couple of the daily maps had noticeable errors that didn t seem to concern him. Lack of navigable water required a change in the itinerary, but what we did was interesting and scenic. No fault there with the company. I found the system for paying for drinks cumberson, bet perhaps I was just accustomed to running a room tab that was settled on the last night. Would I go again? Absolutely. These trips are just too much fun to be discouraged by less than really good food or a disinterested crew member.

Lovely holiday. Food was excellent. Guide was excellent. Cabin was adequate. Staff were lovely. Cycle routes were easy and mostly dedicated cycle paths. Really couldn t find any fault with anything. I would do another trip.

Our boat bike trip exceeded my expectations. It was my first trip on a boat. The boat and cabins were new, attractive, clean, comfortable and bigger than expected. The dining room comfortable clean and not crowded. The deck was great but not always possible to sit in the shade. The staff were friendly, efficient & personable. The boat crew were super helpful on board and with the bikes at all times. The bike was new, nice to ride and pannier high quality waterproof. The food was really good and the veg choices wete excelent. The appetizers were great and we especially ejoyed the salads. I Iiked having lots of fresh fruit at breakfast, and the breakfast buffet sumptuous. The beverage prices were very reasonable. Our guide was excellent & the gps & route sheets super helpful, no problems navigating the route. The history tour was a highlight and we would have like one more even if we had to pay more for it.

A fabulous trip! Great staff who consistently presented a smile and  can do approach. The bikes would benefit from a handlebar mounted water bottle holder but were otherwise good.

Our entire experience with Boat/Bike Tours was efficient ,with the administration providing clear, helpful information with prompt customer service. The boat Lena Maria and her crew could not be faulted. Our accomodation was ideal and the number of participants on board was perfect for socialising easily. The skipper, cycling guide , chef and hostess did everything possible to make this trip memorable. The meals were of exceptional quality. The bikes and additional equipment were presented in top condition each morning, and the organisation of the rides and the interesting local information added to the enjoyment of the week. We would certainly recommended this to others as an active but relaxed holiday. Thank you all.

This was our second tour excellent boat first class crew and guide and what wonderfull food !!!!!

This was an absolutely great trip. Loved our boat and crew. Everything was top notch. Already planning another trip for next spring.

We had a wonderful trip. The boat was comfortable and very clean. The staff were great. Biking was fun and well planned out. I would recommend for sure.
