Good,clean accommodation on the boat. Bikes fine for the distances completed, changed to an E Bike part way through the week, very satisfied with that. Food was good Negative was the available choice of beer on tap.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Hansa Highlights Boat and Bike Tour! We loved that the holiday was an active holiday. The tour guide was interesting, kind and funny. He had a great deal of knowledge of the area to share with us. We also really liked the independence of the tour each day, all the information was given to us each night for the next day’s tour and we could decide what we saw and how fast to go. The food was delicious and the cabins were comfortable. We would highly recommend the Boat Bike Tour for your next holiday.

Although this was a self-guided tour, Olga, who was the Tour Guide, did an outstanding job in making sure everyone was comfortable for each ride day. In addition, she rode the routes every day. The Crew was very helpful…especially Ryan with the Bikes and the 2 Staff who did all of the outside work during the voyage. This De Holland was well appointed both in the staterooms and common areas.

We were greatly thrilled to cycle through such variety of landscapes and villages/cities with our very knowledgeable guides Wil and Esther. We learned a lot about the history, architecture and infrastructure of the Netherlands. Hats of to all the other staff, the chef and Monique especially.

Room came with everything we needed. Might add a hook or two in the washroom to dry clothes. Coffee was awful. Staff generally were very good. Breakfasts were great. GPS app was terrific.

The crew was all exceptional, from hostess Monique, who kept all things tip-top, to Gert the chef with a great variety of good tasting foods, to our tour guides, Wil and Ester. They shared their knowledge of the areas we travels to make the journey more interesting. Seeing a different culture was very enjoyable. Our room was comfortable.

I had an amazing holiday. Everyone was very helpful polite and curtious. When it was too hot for me I had a hard time keeping up. A fellow biker offered me their e-bike which I was reluctant to take, never having used one before. I was surprised how easy it was to use. It was a life saver. I highly recommended everyone use the e-bikes.My fears of their weight and spread were soon overcome as they are very controllable.

This was a great trip. The barge was clean and reasonably updated. The dinner food was very nice and breakfast buffet was quite extensive. I would suggest to extend breakfast until 9am if possible. It s nice to have the option to sleep in after long bike rides. I was glad to have reserved the e-bike as there were hilly and windy days. The daily briefings about the next day s ride were detailed as were the path guidelines. Each days ride was varied enough, forests, fields, canals, dams and of course the beautiful Hansa towns we visited daily. The staff was wonderful, polite, friendly and helpful. I totally enjoyed this and have already recommended it to friends. I m thinking about next year already. Thank you

Great holiday with great staff, great food, great boat, great routes, great guides what more could you ask.

The Hansa Highlights was my first Boat Bike trip and it will definitely not be my last. Everything on board the Magnifique II from the accommodations, the crew, the food, the guides and bikes exceeded my expectations. Having worked in the private yacht industry I understand how much effort is made by the entire crew to make a charter work seamlessly. Kudos to all. See you in 2024! Grazie mille, Margaret

This was a fantastic trip that I WILL be repeating. The trip exceeded my expectations in every way. ” The food was delicious ” The staff was friendly, professional, and helpful ” The rural scenery was beautiful and most towns were scenic ” Rental bikes were well maintained ” The cabin was comfortable and efficiently laid out I was on the Magnifique II for the Hanseatic Cities tour. I chose this trip after discussing with the office staff what kind of trip I was looking for (smaller cites or rural areas). AND I thought that the quality of service and friendliness received via phone and email before the trip could not be exceeded. I was wrong: the staff on the boat provided even better service and went out of the way to make this a pleasant trip.

I loved the Hansa Highlights tour with Boat Bike Tours. Our guide, Ari, had a great sense of humor, was incredibly friendly, and set the tone for each day in the briefings. The scenery and small towns on this tour are simply wonderful.
