I ‘m used to enjoy one week biking with Bostbike every year since 2013 and this year it was a second tour, but not with Boatbike, but with Radreisen. Uselly I prefer small boats to have a better contact with small group, but I wanted to try the famous Danauweg without the enormous number of people who normally go on this route (because of the pandemia, there was much less people). Result: it was not so bad, but the route is a bit boring, not all the time but mainly, the number of kilometer is small. I was lucky to be with wonderful people the first night in the restaurant and this has give me a better feeling for the social side.But I still prefer small boats and I prefer to travel with Boatbike. all in all a fantastic trip . couldn’t of wish for a better trip. food wad excellent , service fantastic . ship very clean & well maintained . all the crew went out of their way to make sure that everything worked , from the guys that brought the bikes out every day , the service in the restaurant , the fantastic food & the presentation , the barman & wines . the hotel management . the riding routes & the booklet / guide book , Captain & his crew & last but not least the Tour Director . thank you all very much .

We had a great week! The crew is awesome! Highly recommend getting the “comfort package ” and having a guide on your rides. Our guide was Axel… great guy.. very knowledgeable!

Our bike guide (Axel) was the best. The Carissima was a pleasant surprise, however the public spaces were uncomfortably warm. The food was excellent far exceeding my expectations. The wait staff was overworked and at times testy. The cruise director, Albert was cordial throughout the trip until the last day when he seemed no longer concerned about the needs of the people as it seems for the rest of the staff. All smiles and hospitality gone. The bike were excellent and well maintained. Overall the tour exceeded my expectations.

Overall a great deal – food was excellent, staff very professional, excursions very good and reasonable in price. The wifi was very inconsistent, the boat had a septic issue that needs immediate attention and some of the bike route directions provided were confusing. Having 1-2 TV stations in English or having English captions recommended as well.

This trip exceeded all of our expectations! Our experience motivated us to consider traveling this way more often.

The trip was amazing. Exceptional staff, great food, service over all was top of the line. One concern is that the Carrissimia boat struggled all week with a sewage odor that permeated the lobby and large gathering room. It was very strong at times. This should not be a difficult problem to solve and needs to be addressed.

excellent trip: well organized, bike bags and repair material in cabins, even for own bikes.Bike tours well balanced and explained. Cabins comfortable and very clean with towel change twice a day.All meals delicious and staff very friendly and helpful. We will recommend this tour to friends!
