Great experience and would do it again. The only minor complaint I have is with the bicycle maintenance. That could improve.

We had a wonderful time exploring Northern Holland on De Willemstad. The routes planned gave a good sampling of both large towns and countryside. The cycling crew were fantastic and their evening briefs on the next day’s excursion were very informative. The ship’s crew was professional, friendly and helpful. Accommodations were great as was food. The only thing I see that could use improvement is communication to passengers when a change in plans has been made because of weather. Rather than an announcement on a public address system, staff stepped into the dining room or salon to let people know. If you didn’t happen to be in one of those rooms, you were left uninformed about the upcoming changes. A public address would be much more efficient. That aside, everything was fantastic!

A great way to experience the Dutch countryside and cities as well as the culture. The bike courses were well marked. The guides were seen on the course often and were very helpful before and during rides. The food was excellent.

We totally enjoyed our bike and barge trip. The staff was great. The tour guides helped us when we needed a bike repair, when the ship staff couldn’t fix the problem. The food was excellent and accommodations were good. The gps was good as long as the tours were not changed. We did get lost a few times but found our way back no problem. Would recommend to everyone.

All the crew members onboard were helpful and went out of their way to accommodate us. Five stars to them. The only thing that was disturbing was the bad smell inside the barge when there were choppy waters. But over all the experience was wonderful and we will like to take another boat and bike tour in the future.

We loved our Boatbike trip!! We did both the southern and Northern holland trips and each was wonderful!! Scenery, bikes, food, cabin, organization, guides, all excellent! Best vacation!!!!! Special mention to the dining room staff who made every dinner a 4 star experience!!!

Excellent holiday. The lovely staff on both the boat and tour guides, along with the super meals on board the boat, coupled with well planned routes, made this a holiday to remember. Would highly recommend this tour

I loved my Boat/Bike! I did the Southern Loop from Amsterdam followed by the Northern Loop. Many times we had a choice between a long route and a shorter route. I always did the long route as I wanted to make the most of my trip. Getting back to the Poseidon and having coffee and a sweet treat in mid afternoon was alway a great reward for a successful bike day. The tour leaders were great as was the crew of the Poseidon.

Just completed the North Holland Tour on De Willemstad. Suite cabin was spacious and well maintained. All the crew onboard were friendly, obliging and helpful. Peter and Pete our guides did an excellent job in challenging circumstances, having to change tour itineraries at the last minute due to circumstances beyond their control. The food was acceptable, not gourmet dining but perfectly adequate for mass catering. We would have preferred a later dining time than 6pm as the days are full on if you take the longer routes. I switched to an e bike after day 2 as I found it challenging cycling in the strong winds, however my husband who is a keen cyclist had no such problem! All in all a very good experience.

Fun trip- the guides did a very nice job! One thing- for last min changes- best to have that recorded exactly in GPS and on map. Also, hard to download GPS app on boat- that could be improved. Food was disappointing. Could have had more variety (not just eggs) for breakfast and also maybe more fresh salad- veggies for dinner. The boat messed up our reservation and gave us a room different than what we booked (beds together rather then separated, and part of room cut off due to location). We had to pay cash 100 euros to upgrade to suite. We were charged incorrectly for two cabins rather than one. I only found that out talking to another passenger. Once the issue to brought to your attention it was corrected quickly. Thx! Generally the trip was good and I would recommend and go on another trip.
