We had a great time. Anna and Sinc were terrific guides and great fun. The boat was not luxurious but it was comfortable. The food was really good. The captain and krewe were very nice and helpful. We enjoyed the rides and the tours. And we had a great group of people. We’ll do another one

This was the trip of a lifetime! The beauty of the Aeolian Islands cannot be described. Each island has its own personality and adventure awaiting. We biked and climbed and relaxed and swam- all the things. It was a perfect week in paradise. The boat, its wonderful crew and our fearless and fun leader Nico completed the perfection! Highly recommend this trip if you want a personalized vacation with wonderful regional food, a friendly crew that became lifelong friends and the most gorgeous setting imaginable!

The trip overall was amazing. Everything was well planned, the rides and excursions were diverse, story times gave enough information but not overload, and the food was great! Adding the bike and boat together was a super way to enjoy Greece. Our guides were knowledgeable and fun. We did have some mechanical issues, so we had to adjust the schedule a little bit. The team did a good job at pivoting to adjust. One thing to note, if you do not like tight quarter, the boat may not be for you. Also, if you have a food allergy, it may be difficult to get the foods you need on the boat. And a thing I would recommend the crew add is a big jug of hand sanitizer to the main eating area. Everyone is in one main area, eating family style, using the rails to walk safely. A big jug of hand sanitizer would have been nice to have for everyone’s use!

After experiencing an unfortunate accident on board the boat that left us unable to bike we were then left with a wonderful  cruise  on the canals. The crew was very helpful and the 2 guides went out of their way to keep us involved in the travel experience.

The itinerary was well-planned and our guide was wonderful. The crew on the boat was great and the food was excellent. The chef and staff went above and beyond to accommodate my special gluten-free diet. Wine selections were recommended each night to pair with the food to be served at dinner. The biking seemed a little harder than a level 1, probably more like a level 2, so if you’re undecided about renting an e-bike vs. a manual touring bike, you may want to choose the e-bike if you are not a strong cyclist to help with the steeper climbs.

The boat was a perfect size for us. The guides were excellent and communicated well. The bikes were great and never any issues with them. The food, the chef and crew were excellent. No complaints and would recommend this trip to all!

Boat Bike Tours does an excellent job from start of booking through the final departure. Our trip was on the Arkona – and it was a great experience. The boat itself is accommodating with comfort in a minimal footprint for the cabin. The upper deck automatic window is a real plus to get you closer to the outdoors while traveling the rivers and canals. Staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. The Southern Holland tour hits all the highlights in a progressive sequence for even the most tentative bike rider. The food is surprisingly good, varied and plentiful – a plus for a tour of this size. We enjoyed meeting new friends from around the world. We traveled this particular tour with a group of friends (8 total) that worked well with options to travel together or on own during the daily routes. Highly recommend and look forward to our next journey.

I had a wonderful time in the Netherlands, thanks to Ronald, Alwin and crew, the trip was the best adventure yet in my life.
