The guides are exemplary on this trip and others we have taken with Boat/Bike. In fact, the whole staff is very welcoming and pleasant and fun. The chef did an outstanding presentation on evening meals. The breakfasts were however repetitive and they were our lunches as well. The food provided was good but we tired of the sameness. The facilities on the Magnifique boats are always lovely but being there in both the spring and then fall, we needed more heat. It would have been nice if the hot tub was at a temperature above 98; needs to be more than body temp and the water was a bit murky. We love the routes and the bikes and the guided tours. We ll definitely be back again. We are Boat/Bike repeaters! Thank you for the great experience.

Great biking experience. Guides and paths were outstanding.

All aspects of the trip met or exceeded our expectations; the quality of the boat, the food, the pathways for cycling and most of all the staff!

Knowledgeable helpful guides. Bikes in good condition. Accommodations comfortable and clean. Staff on board very friendly. The food was excellent except that the chef did not seem to have knowledge of guests who indicated they were vegetarian when they signed up. He tried to accommodate but the wires still managed to get crossed sometimes.

Great boat, great crew, great food, and fun biking. Hope to do it again!

The boat and bike trip from Cochem to Metz was a lot of fun. We had great tour managers who were conscientious and caring towards the group. The boat staff were quick to help in any situation, and the food was delicious. The boat was older, but kept clean and comfortable.

The staff were excellent and did a great job sharing all the duties and making the guest experience very positive The tour was fantastic and the Mosel valley is very picturesque and scenic We truly enjoyed the entire journey

Fabulous holiday cycling down the Moselle river along the vineyards covering the hills beside . The boat had all the facilities you could ask for and staff were excellent. Food on board was plentiful and tasty

This is our seventh tour with Boat and Bike and I want to tell you about some disappointments this time. The bikes have changed to be blue from the earlier bikes that were orange. The blue bikes were very heavy to ride whereas the orange bikes were very good to ride. The orange bikes were so good to ride that riders that have accompanied us in the past have made comments that they would like one to take home. Some of these have been experienced, but weaker riders. On this tour we found the blue bikes to be very heavy to ride. On shallow rises in the pathway, the bikes were very heavy to ride up the slope even on the lowest gear setting. These slopes would be ridden with ease on our bikes at home and on the orange bikes that you once supplied. The simplest answer is that the single chain wheel is too big. That is a smaller number of teeth on the chainwheel would make it easier. Electric bikes are available, but I do not use and will not use an electric bike to mask what I consider a design error. There were many accidents on the bikes over the tour which started in Amsterdam (or Utrecht) for us. In all of the five tours that we have taken in the past, we cannot remember any accidents. In all of these accidents it seemed to be inexperienced riders that were involved. These comments have been given to you to highlight what we found to be factors that reduced our pleasure in the ride.

The whole experience was wonderful, from the crew, to the guides, the meals, and most importantly the cycling through the beautiful countryside.
