My husband and I had the most fabulous time on our boat and bike trip from Metz to Cochem . Our guide Erna was simply the best- informative, patient , thoughtful and fun-loving. We also had two great hostesses who always greeted us with a special afternoon treat. And seeing the grapes on the vine as we biked our way up the Moselle was truly a sight to behold.

The trip was a lot of fun. The bikes were in great condition and the rides were lovely with beautiful scenery around each turn. The only problem we encountered was the air conditioning on the first day and the last few days wasn t operating correctly and it was uncomfortable.

Did Metz to Cochem bike tour. We got off to a rough start because the barge we were booked on had a catastrophic mechanical issue. Boat bike tours was able to find a replacement boat in a short period of time but had to advance the tour by 1 day. As we missed day one, they added a special tour for us on the last day and put our group of 14 up in a hotel. Jake, the tour guide was awesome. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and just a great person to spend some time with. Looking forward to our next biking adventure with this company.

We really enjoyed every aspects of our trip. Our guide Hetty was fantastic. The food on board was very nice and the staff extremely helpful.

Even though our trip was cut short due to the rising river and flooding, we had a wonderful trip from Metz to Cochem/Koblenz. The entire crew made us feel at home and we remained safe as the river rose. We will return again and again and recommend this amazing form of recreational travel.

This was our third bike and boat trip and we feel it was not as prepared and organized as past trips. The boat was obviously an older one and needed maintenance. The tour guides were not as knowledgeable. The crew on the boat were very hospitable and did a great job handling multiple obstacles.

We had a little mishap with Mother Nature but the captain and crew made the experience of flood waters and evacuation of the boat easy. This is my third trip with Boat Bike Tours and I will definitely use them again. They are a great company!!

The trip was excellent. The young chef did an amazing job with our dinners. The guides were informative, fun. and energetic. The entire experience was wonderful. A fantastic route through these wonderful little villages and towns. For me, it is the best way to experience Europe!!

Pleasant, helpful staff. Loved the countryside and bike paths. The meals were lovely but too designer and not enough food, for some. It was Hot and they couldn t turn on air. Hot tub was out of commission for the week.

Our guide, Hugo, was very enthusiastic and made our experience very interesting. I have to say though: I don t understand the cycling being rated a 1 I think it deserves a solid 2. After I found I needed an e-bike for two days, I was charged 40 Euros a day over what I had already paid for the standard bike and that seemed excessive. I also feel like some of the busy roads we had to navigate were a bit challenging and could have presented possible  problems and the last five kilometers of the ride toward Aigues Mortes was simple excruciating! The food was terrific and everything else was great.
